I feel great and I’m pain free.
Hi, my name is Mary. I am 60 years old. On May 9th, I had “anterior” hip replacement surgery by Dr. Steven Naide of East Coast Orthopaedics. Before the operation, I suffered with pain for about a year or so. I had to take pain meds every day. I could hardly walk. Needless to say, my life was miserable as I am a very active person.
I finally decided to have the operation because I couldn’t stand the pain any longer. I came out of recovery about 5 pm that day and was up the next morning walking a little. The next day was even better. I went home within the 3rd day. I used a walker for less than a week and drove to Dr. Naide’s office for my post-op appointment (2 weeks).
I was out of work for 20 working days. I am so grateful to Dr. Naide and staff. I feel great, my legs are even now and I don’t limp anymore and I’m pain free (no pain pills)!
