Everyone involved was working as a team.
Dear Dr. Bruce Janke & Dr. Steven Naide,
It has been seven weeks today since I had my double hip replacement and I can honestly say that I feel like a new man. It is hard to get used to the fact that I am not going to hurt when I do certain things. I have astounded my friends.
When I heard about anterior hip replacement, I knew it was what I wanted to have. I expected my recovery to be quicker than with the usual method, but it has been a lot faster than even I imagined, given my age and physical condition. I was walking without a cane in two weeks, driving in two and half weeks and riding my Harley in three weeks. Most of my friends are in awe over how rapidly I have recovered. While I am not all the way there, I am improving daily. Only extreme movements still evade me.
Not only was the procedure a great success, but I also felt that everyone involved was working as a team to ensure a positive outcome. This, from my initial visits to the office, through the surgery, the at-home rehab and my post-operative office visit. Joyce was always there to deal with any concerns and questions that I had. The staff of the Joint Care Center took care of my every need and got me up and out of the hospital in record time. I also want to compliment you on the Guidebook, which became our Bible throughout the process.
All in all, I am delighted with the results of my surgery and I would be happy to speak with anyone contemplating the operation to tell them of my experience.
Jay N.
