New Physician (Spine Surgeon) Added to Our Practice
East Coast Orthopaedics (Dr. Bruce Janke & Dr. Steven Naide) are pleased to welcome John Malloy, IV, DO to our practice. Dr. John Malloy is a Fellowship Trained Spine Surgeon who treats all aspects of the spine as well as general orthopaedic care; to include fractures, sprains and other orthopedics injuries.
Dr. Malloy, Fellowship Trained in Advanced Spinal Reconstruction at John Hopkins University, specializes in the treatment of cervical, thoracic and lumbar spinal degenerative conditions such as: Stenosis, herniated discs, compression fractures, degenerative spinal disorders and scoliosis with an emphasis on minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques. Dr. Malloy also focus es on motion preservation and total disc replacement , Microdiscectomy, Laminectomy and Kyphoplasty.
A native of Philadelphia, Dr. Malloy graduated with Honors from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He did his Orthopaedic Surgery Residency at Pinnacle Health Hospital System in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania where he served as Chief Resident. Before joining East Coast Orthopaedics, Dr. Malloy spent the past year in Largo, Florida in an Orthopaedic practice as a spine surgeon.
Dr. Malloy has authored and co-authored numerous article and book chapters on Orthopaedic and Spinal conditions and has presented award winning educational forums at national conferences.
