New Hips Won’t Stop This Tourist!

A local travel agent had both of his hips replaced recently by Dr. Janke, but that didn’t stop him from exploring the world after recovery!
Philip and many others can attest that their quality of life is much improved after surgery. With the proper care and physician instruction, it is possible that patients may return to more active lifestyles. Thanks for the letter and photos, Philip!

Dr. Janke,
You replaced both of my hips on February 19, 2015.  As you know, I have had an excellent result and I am so grateful for your good work.
Last month, my wife and I were on a cruise to the Adriatic and we visited Dubrovnik, Croatia.  The city has a 1.3 mile long wall around it that you can walk on and see breathtaking views of the city and the ocean.  The catch is that you have to climb 119 steep stone steps to get to the top of the wall. It was no problem for me! I kept up with the 20 somethings all the way!  Thank you for the good job on my hips.  You make a difference in patient’s lives, perhaps more than you realize.
